Court of First Instance of Ileia

In Ileia, the "First-Instance Court" (Protoklito Dikastirio) was first established with its seat in Pyrgos in 1829 by the Government of Ioannis Kapodistrias, and operated intermittently until its abolition by the Regency. Subsequently, more than forty years passed before the First-Instance Court of Pyrgos was established on October 20, 1867, making it one of the oldest provincial First-Instance Courts in Greece.

Following the entry into force of Law 5108/2024 (Consolidation of the first degree of jurisdiction, spatial restructuring of civil and criminal courts, and other provisions) (Government Gazette A 65/02-05-2024), the First-Instance Court of Amaliada constitutes the Parallel Seat of the First-Instance Court of Ileia.
